Fishing in Key West with Mr. NiceGuy
Hey, Mr. Nice Guy here, and these are my fishing charters. I’ve been a captain for over 20 years and know a thing or two about fishing. I offer 3, 4, 5, 6, or 8 hour trips. The prices vary of course but if you call me directly I am always willing to be nice. We mostly do backcountry and reef and wreck fishing. We catch fish like mangrove snappers, tarpon, yellowtail snapper, sharks, grouper, cobia, lobster and more. Families are welcome! It’s a fun activity for the kids! Come book a half day trip with us. My husband and I and two other couples went out with Jeff last weekend. It was a fantastic fishing experience. He found some great spots to bring in the fish. We caught many fish (of course not all keepers) but plenty to feed the six of us dinner. We will be booking with Jeff again. Super nice guy and suggested we take the fish to a local restaurant to cook. Schooner Wharf cooked it and it was excellent.

Great day out on the water with some great fishing. Captain Jeff was friendly, knowledgeable, easy to schedule with, and made sure we had a good time. Highly recommend when you’re in the keys!

Captain Jeff is the man! He took our family of five out and we hit all the stops. Sandbars, snorkeling, and shark fishing! Totally recommend and would get back on the boat tomorrow!

We went lobster diving with captain jeff on the first day of lobster mini season 2025 and had the most incredible time. Conditions were great and Jeff did an exceptional job putting us on lobster as well as helping up catch them. Highly recommend booking with captain jeff for any charter, he will work hard to put you on whatever you want. We will definitely be back.

Great time despite the windy conditions, captain Jeff worked hard to get us some fish and finished off the day with barracuda, shark fishing. Awesome fun!!

It was a great day. Captain Jeff was very professional. We went to the sandbar. And he took me to a spot with a bunch of rays. And explained a lot of the lower keys sea life to me! I was very comfortable on the boat.

We had a fabulous day on the water with Captain Nice Guy Jeff! Even though it was a windy day for our trip, Jeff found 2 fabulous places for us to enjoy snorkelling a local shipwreck (with fish including barracuda and sergeant majors!) and an amazing island where we had a long and luxurious walk on the secluded beach. We had cold drinks and got to borrow great snorkelling gear, too!! Thanks for a great day, Jeff, and definitely see you next time we are in Key West!!

Captain Jeff the Fish knows the Caribbean seas better than Captain Jack Sparrow. I was very impressed when he was judging the wind and the tide when he was choosing which sandbar to go to. He can tell you all the heroic stories of the little key islands and all the military history. Ask him how he got his nickname!

Great guy and got us on many fish in windy conditions. Captain Jeff even extended the trip a little because the fishing was so good. His local knowledge was key in trying out different spots. He even recommended a killer spot to take our fish to be cooked for lunch at Hogfish bar and grill.

I am not a big review guy but the trip my family (wife and 4 kids) had today was amazing!! Jeff really took care of everything and my kids caught fish like crazy making memories that will last a lifetime!! Honestly, just a great day!

We were lucky to book this charter on less than a days notice. We couldn’t have asked for a better guy than captain Jeff to take us out for the day. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful to a couple of novice anglers like my wife and I (she out-fished me 10-1). We’ll certainly be booking again next time we’re in town.

Best charter boat experience I've ever had! Captain Jeff was very knowledgeable and friendly! We had a amazing day on the water and he took us to some prime fishing spots where we caught alot of different fish, I would highly recommend using Nice guy charters!

Great guide, flexible, fun and helpful. Caught a bunch of fish for dinner and he fileted them for us before we left. Have done a number of fishing charters in my years and would come back to this one for sure.
